My family consists of my wife of 33 years, Jody, my 3 sons, their wives, and 5 grandchildren. We have a 5 ½ pound, 14 year old toy fox terrier named Bling-Bling. I love my family and am very proud that they are following Jesus. I also enjoy hanging out with people and listening to their "story".
My hope is to use my 20+ years of experience as a youth pastor, church planter / pastor of two congregations, Revitalization Pastor of FBC Vermilion and Director of Missions to strengthen local congregations in their areas of giftedness so they can effectively reach a lost and dying world through evangelism and discipleship.
My desire is to partner with other pastors and planters encouraging them to persevere, as well as form an accountability within the body to live holy lives for God’s glory. I also desire to come alongside of elders and pastors to train up / mentor planters to reach the un-churched and de-churched within and outside of their surrounding community.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Sarah Thompson is a member and Office Manager / Administrative Assistant at FBC Vermilion.
She has also worked with business accounts at a few corporations. Sarah is a mother to 5 children and married to Brett Thompson. She loves the Lord and loves people. She is a very creative individual as well. She can be contacted at NCBAoffice@gmail.com.
